Paul van Dyk is a genius! To be honest, his mix of My House and South Beach was undeniably awesome
other favourites are "I Retro", "Freakshow Disco no.2" and "No More alone"

For me his best album will always be Vorsprung Dyk Technic just because I had never heard anything so banging and yet beautifully trancey and melodic at that time. Feeling that he had slightly gone off the boil recently and been surpassed by the likes of Armin and Above & Beyond, this album came as a pleasant surprise. Trance has moved on and so has PVD since the halcyon days of Vorsprung D Technic and Politics of Dancing 1&2 etc and this album has some great tracks.

When I first listened to the CD I wasn't expecting much from the first couple of tracks but I was in for a shock when I managed to find the time to listen to every track.....brilliant!So so good, I can't stop listening to it. If you like Ibiza you'll love this!

OK, ask yourself why you want to buy this CD. If you want to buy this to try and capture an Ibiza feel, then yes, buy this and you will not be dissapointed.
However I write this as a trance and PVD fan, and have therefore purchased this CD for that reason.
So, first thing, throw CD1 away. This is not PVD. I know Ibiza is not all trance, but PVD is!! (although some of his latest CD have been wondering from this). This is not what PVD ever plays and so is not PVD, but a mix done for Cream. ... Read More

I don't like giving less stars for an album when the only justification for doing so is personal taste. This album captures quite a large range of electronic music... from pure cut trance to quite housey stuff. Because I generally like one specific sector of electronic music more than others, I only enjoy the songs that fit into that genre - to give you a clue, I love Phoria - J Amnesia - G Ottaviani tracks on CD2 the most.
