- A delightful children's film
I took my 3-year old to see this at the cinema, her first ever cinema visit, and she simply loved it.
It is an old-fashioned children's movie - no grown-up humour to entertain the parents and no flashy effects - and it is thoroughly enjoyable as a result.
There is no better entertainment than the look of captivation on the face of a small child, and this film delivers it in spades.
The soundtrack, by Jack Johnson, is beautiful and is well worth a separate purchase. ... Read More
Rating: - A lovely film with a lot of loveable monkey tricks
It takes a little while to get going with a bit of plot-setting about the museum and the journey to the jungle, but as soon as the boat makes it to Africa this story really takes off. Lovely cartoon characters in 2D and enough immediate reactions to keep the little ones interested. Very enjoyable.

so i purchased this dvd,knowing it was a film version,but turned out to be
different from the series,different music and with no voice over
its abit too long for her to maintain interest
so when they released the tv series dvd,i purchased that one
with 8 episodes all about animals,this keeps her entertained and she happily
watches it until the end

My daughter (age 6) and son (age 2) really love the Curious George movie, and have returned to it many times.
It's a very endearing, fun and calming film to watch. As the mum of a toddler, I love this film myself too, as George captures the essence of toddlers - fun loving, infuriating and completely adorable! Was pleasantly surprised! An excellent film. Simple but brilliant graphic style. Feel good story and entertaining throughout. Don't normally like monkeys, but George is very endearing and the star of the show.
Young kids and old should love it!
