Firstly, I do not understand those who have given it such a rubbish rating as 1 star! What the hell is that about?! This series has serious class - I started watching it because I want to be a teacher (I am 21 by the way, not a stupid child!), and channel 4 has a good rep with comedy dramas...and I was right. I disagree with it's grip on reality...perhaps not all teachers are quite as drunken, have quite as many illicit affairs, but it's like all TV - over emphasis! I know teachers who ... Read More

This is a sloppily-written series with stock characters in stock situations- luckily Andrew Lincoln has enough charisma to carry off the lead- shame the same can't be said for the supporting cast, especially puffy-faced Navin Cowdry, who is woefully unamusing as the sidekick.

what more could you need in life this boxset is trully the most uplifting of all boxsets, poor simons naivity and his colleagues attempts to help him out just remind you of what life is all about, OMG and the soundtrack phenomenal... seriously its superb, and this is the only teachers you'll ever need coz as we all no series 4 is pants compared to the other series, its good but its never gonna be good without simon kurt and the almighty brian, its just never gonna be better then this series ...
