Contrary to popular belief of most Teachers' fans, i have to say i enjoyed this series thoroughly, and believe it to be the best series so far. Granted, Simon, Susan and Jenny are no longer a part of the series, but you still have the ever hilarious Brian and Kurt for amusement, and the addition of new comers Matt and Penny, who add more variety to the series. My only criticism of the series has to be that the final plotline at the end of the series wasnt concluded, and you are left hanging in disbelief ... Read More

After the outstanding basis and background of Teachers series one and two I eagerly looked forward to series three. Unfortunately it has so many gaping holes with the loss and no explanation of JP, Susan and Jenny's non appearance! The welcome return of Simon makes up for this slightly as he is Teachers as he was in This Life also! Kurt and Brian make this series their own!

This third installment of Channel 4 comedy/drama Teachers has to be one of the best DVD's I've purchased. After watching the series, which aired in 2003, I had to get this when it came out.
It may be a slight disappointment to some compared to the first two series of Teachers, but I do feel it was a lot funnier overall than the final series of Teachers last year. Another disappointment is that there a few extras available on this DVD as well.

Rating: - A bit dissapointing but all is not lost!
Teachers Series 3 is an excellent comedy drama however it doesn't live up to expectations after series 1 and 2. Unfortunately the series misses Simon, Susan and Jenny and the new characters just aren't as strong. Penny is still a bit out of place and Matt is a bit boring to be part of the gang. Lindsey fits in great though as a bit of a cross between Simon and Susan. Bob is given a bigger role but again he just doesn't seem to fit in. The series is still pretty funny though and if u haven't seen series 1 ... Read More

I still do enjoy this series, but since I got series one and two on dvd, I can see that series three is definately lacking something. The main problem is the absense of the characters Susan, Jenny, JP, and Simon, and no real strong new characters to replace them.
