A truly moving journey where the stories of three likeable people follow their heart against all odds and intertwine briefly. A simple, human tale of searching and finding, hope and determination, and although a little bleak at times, it leaves you with a warm glow. Very worthwhile!

I really enjoyed this film. The three main characters are engaging in totally different ways. The photography is lovely and although the stories are indeed "minimas" ie minimal, you get caught up in them. There are aspects to the film which are sad, yet because the characters are depicted affectionately, you feel fulfilled by the end of the story.

I agree with all the above, a fantastic gem of a movie, a real breath of fresh air in contrast with all the American trash. Carlos Paredes' music is wonderful, and all actors bar two are non-professional local people.

a touching without being sentimental story about 3 disparate travellers from rural Patagonia. The acting, scenery and even the loosely strung together storyline are too good to be missed. Everybody has hopes or dreams which are not always fulfilled in the way anticipated - wry humour, insight to mindsets and ongoing hopes of young mother, middleaged salesman and old man. - Enjoy!
