Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson (p 38) "A dyslexic, hyperactive boy with a D+ report card, kicked out of school for the sixth time in six years," has been being shipped off to boarding school for years. I didn't read this book but my 12 year old son did and loved it. He is not a big reader but read each book in the series in less than a week. Keep them comming Rick Riordan.
