- Good original recipes
Great cookbook with lots of original recipes. I also love that she includes all the nutrition facts on each page. The only drawback is not enough illustrations. So far, the recipes have been delicious but do require a bit of prep work. Overall a great cookbook to add to any crock pot collection!

- I like this book alot
I hate to cook, and I love this book. I get home at 8 or 9 PM on some nights. So this is great for those nights that my husband gets home first. If I don't use this, we end up with pizza or Chinese food or starving. So it's a better option than those. It's not as much prep as people complain about. - Wonderful!
I normally cook and cook a lot every single day!
This slow cooker is my first one.
On the contrary of what the recipes advise, I throw everything in the pot and forget it. Nothing prepared ahead as suggested or whatever.
The result? Delicious.
Take my word, don't bother, make your life easy. Collect everything you have and that's it. If the peppers are missing, too bad if they are not essential of course. You do not have fennel but have fennel seeds, that will be it.

- OK, but too much work
The recipes aren't bad, especially health wise, but there's a LOT of prep...including sauteeing food before putting it in the crock pot. A good buy if you have time, but if you're looking for something that you expect from a crockpot (throw it all in and leave!), this one may not be right for you.

- Healthy and Delicious!
If you read some of the reviews on this site you'd think that the author has you going to exotic and bizarre grocery stores and spending hours preparing these dishes. Its simply untrue. If you're looking for a cookbook that has you open 5 different cans of salty foods and throw em all together for some mushy and unrecognizable (yet fast!) food product then don't buy this one. This one outlines how you can create wonderful, filling, nutritious meals for your whole family. Yep, you are required to chop ... Read More
