Updated review: It is good for the price. But I am a little disappointed that the music in DVD/CD is for companion only so I can't tell if I play flute right or not. I am self-starter without much music background.
Orignial: I have read some books for flutes with good reviews, this is the best for the price, it has nothing of fluff, color, clip art, and facts not specific to flute. Make sure you buy the book1 which includes the very good DVD, I haven't tried the CD yet. My 9-year ... Read More

I like the product but would prefer a DVD as in level 1, instead of CD. Also, the CD did not include all of the music in the book, as did level 1, & I am unable to find the optionsl CD's that have the music.

this book is loaded with fluff, color, clip art, and facts not specific to flute. The small pieces of songs featured on the pages are a nice strat to something that could be done much better.
