The methods of arriving at resolutions are emphasized, so that when the facts of the workplace problem are not quite the same, the student can still reach a good decision based on the legal considerations required by law, which remain relevant.

The purchase experience was pretty smooth and the book was obtained at a reasonable price. The only issue I had was that the seller never responded to any of my e-mails. I did desire next day delivery but got no where with it. Other than that, it went fine.

I received the book in a timely manner. The book binding was broken. Some of the pages fell out.

A number of reviews of this book are unfairly critical. Reviewers who criticize it on the basis of being too "liberal" or "anti-management" seem to be missing an obvious point. Regulating the employment environment is an inherently liberal idea, designed to protect "common" workers at the expense of the organization and its representatives. This textbook is filleed with a wealth of information. I would recommend this text boook for anyone studying employment law. The cases included in this are very helpful in understanding the issues of employment law in the workplace.
