Product Description:
If you give a cat a cupcake, he'll ask for some sprinkles to go with it. When you give him the sprinkles, he might spill some on the floor. Cleaning up will make him hot, so you'll give him a bathing suit . . . and that's just the beginning!
The lovable cat who first appeared in If You Give a Pig a Party now has his very own book! Written in the tradition of the bestselling If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond's newest story will show everyone that Cat is where it's at!

- If You Give a Cat....
I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my daughter and her four cats. She and the cats have enjoyed reading this one aloud over and over; they find it delightful every time!
Rating:
- Not as good as the others
This book is not anywhere as good as the others she has written. It doesn't flow or make much sense. The transitions are very poor and it feels like something that was slapped together with out much thought.
Rating:
- My kids love this book!
From my point of view It is the same as the "if you give a..." series and if you have read one you read them all, but if you love cute kitties, cupcakes and sprinkles then this is the one to get. My 2-1/2 year old son LOVES this book and my daughter and myself read it to him a few times everyday! We think this is the cutest one in the series.
Rating:
- If You Give a Cat A Cupcake, All Havoc Breaks Loose!
Like the pig who gets a pancake, and the moose who gets the cookie, the cat who gets a cupcake leads their owner on a frenetic trip to the kitchen, beach, and museum. A very fun series kids always love again and again. They never seem to get tired of it. As a teacher I love using the stories and having students learn to read it themselves. It is wonderful to see the delight in their eyes. I highly think that it is great that Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond can up with new ideas and still complement ... Read More
Rating:
- Good but same as the others
My daughter loves this series so she got this on the first day it came out. She likes it but I find it to be slightly tedious. Mouse Cookie and Pig Pancake were much catchier and had a better flow. I feel this is just a feeble attempt to cash in on the series. I gave it 4 stars because my daughter enjoyed it but I wish I would've rented it from the library instead of buying it. It's one story she doesn't return to.
