Rating: - The Good Doctor
I have been throught rehab,outpatient programs, hospitalizations. I have never as yet come across a doctor that is as knowledgeable and caring as Dr. Drew seems to be. This book is very honest and he gives a great perspective into what the practitioners have to go throuh in treating those of us who battle addiction. We are not and easy bunch to deal with!

Rating: - A peek into rehab
I started listening to Loveline a few month's ago, it was previously recorded shows all with Adam Corolla. Dr. Drew had just put out his book and I knew I had to read it. Having both parents being recovering alcoholics and with my mother just having relapsed a year prior, I found myself looking for answers. I was very impressed with this book, it is perfect for someone that is living with an addiction. I would recommend this book for anyone who is personally battling addiction or is an innocent bystander feeling the effects of someone elses addiction! AWESOME BOOK!!

Rating: - refreshing and REAL
Cracked: Life on the Edge in a Rehab Clinic
I could not put this book down! It was so refreshing to read about a Dr's "feelings". I work in the field of substance abuse and have thought, on so many days, the same "thoughts". There is no real science for the disease of addiction and we never know why some "get it" and why some don't. I wish there was a Dr. Drew Pinsky in every detox and rehab and with his quick diagnosis and great listening, we would have more recovery! Gwen T.
