My mother has the predecessor to this cookbook (The Pleasures of your Processor, which is now out of print) and I grew up on it's basic as well as delicious recipes. When I moved to my own home it was the first cookbook I purchased!

Rating: - False Advertising...
This book really should have been called "The Kosher Food Processor Bible." Some of the recipes look pretty good (to be honest, I haven't tried any yet) but I was really put off by the fact that entire categories of food I enjoy (shellfish, for example) were missing. And calling for margarine instead of butter may be appropriate for kosher diets, but it's not good nutritionally or in the culinary sense. I received a food processor for a birthday gift, and had no experience at all with one. The booklet that came with it only had a couple of recipes, and didn't really explain very well the uses of the various blades, etc. I bought this book and I love it! It really helped me to understand my machine, and the first recipe I used was for pie crust. It was honestly the best I've ever made, and I bake a lot. Seller sent a condensed version of the book I requested and failed to respond to my e-mails informing them of the error. The book I ordered had over 400 pages, the version that was sent had about 250 pages and was an abbreviated version of the orginal book.
